En respuesta a: Bullfight tours from I/Z to Acapulco? escrito por kel desde 24.79.60.21 (S0106000d93016e59.wp.shawcable.net) el día martes, 12 de septiembre, 2006 a las 13:07:14 horas :

A same-day tour to Acapulco would be about near impossible since it is about a four and a half hour drive each way, and the Plaza de Toros opens at 5:30 PM every Sunday from early in January until around mid-April. And YES, they kill the toros in Acapulco. It is often a very bloody sport since only Novilleros fight in Acapulco, not full-fledged Matadors. These guys are still practicing to become Matadors, and from the picador to the bandillero to the final killing a lot of blood and gore can take place.

I'm not aware of any local tour operators currently offering such a tour.

In our region of Guerrero we have charreadas that often include bull-riding on some bad-tempered brahma bulls. You can watch a lot of macho guys get tossed around and stomped. The charros are our local favorites. These guys are like super-cowboys, though since my primo Pepe Farķas gave up the sport a few decades ago the "epoca dorada de la charrerķa" has ended and the sport has not been the same since. ;~)
