Planning a trip in March with my wife, who has never seen a bull fight before. 2 questions:

1. I seem to recall reading somewhere that the fight is not longer to the death (with pics/sword, etc), but has been altered and made non-lethal for animal welfare reasons. True?
2. Wondering if anyone knows of any same day tours operating from I/Z to ACAPULCO and back specifically to see bullfights. In other words, that would get us right to the bullring and back as opposed to travelling by bus to the depot in Acapulco, then having to cab it to and from the depot to see the fights?
